There are two main types of iron pretreatment system: open iron tank and torpedo iron tank (referred to as torpedo car, mixed-iron car), iron tank is the traditional and common use equipment for transporting iron. The mixed-iron car’s capacity is generally 100 to 150t, larger mixed-iron car can hold 400 to 600t of iron. In certain protective conditions, mixed iron car can be sent the iron to other place for tens of kilometers away. It can save energy that the temperature of the molten iron is reduced less.
According to the shape is also known as iron water tank, iron package, iron barrels, mixed iron car, torpedo tank, designed for steelmaking supporting, so according to the capacity, there are many types of furnace, but the shape is similar, relative to the majority of industrial furnaces in the steel plant, the iron water tank structure is relatively simple, the lining material requirements are not high, generally using high alumina, aluminum carbon or aluminum silicon carbide refractory materials, the construction sequence: the bottom of permanent layer -wall of permanent layer -bottom of working layer -wall of working layer.
1. With excellent chemical erosion resistance, to prevent chemical erosion and aggravate the damage of resistant materials;
2. With good slag erosion resistance and penetration performance, to prevent the occurrence of iron tank leakage
3. With good thermal shock stability, to prevent the resistant material in the process of temperature change, affected by the stress and crack, spalling phenomenon;
4. The permanent layer castable should have high bonding strength and good overall performance;
